Objective of the role: The Chief Financial Officer at Airfinity Limited is part of the senior executive team responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial success at Airfinity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partner the CEO, developing and delivering Airfinity's overall financial strategy.

• Provides leadership and management for treasury, tax, accounting, finance, legal, HR and investor relations.

• Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical

  initiatives, product launches and/or new service offerings.

• Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short

  and long-term strategic financial objectives.

• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable

  regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting.

• Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.

• Work closely with the external investors to understand, and deliver against, their governance / reporting requirements. The CFO will operate as a conduit between external investors and the management team.

• Production of effective KPI reporting metrics and financial models.

• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations, and mitigate risk across the business.

• Structure and performance of the wider corporate services unit, including human resources and talent acquisition, aligning HR strategy with the business strategy so that all parts of the company are working in sync towards the company’s goals.

Skills, Qualifications and Profile:

• Proven experience as CFO in a SAAS Business (Pharma and or data business would be an advantage).

• Experience of working in a founder led Series A or Series B business.

• Debt & Equity fundraise experience.

• Experience of having responsibility for legal and HR (as well as finance).

• Experience with managing VC relationships (European and US)

• Clear, precise communication which can be understood by non-finance teams.

• Comfortable operating in the detail as well as at a strategic level.
