India struggling to vaccinate with supply shortage, despite export ban

Vaccination rates in India starting increasing in March, with a further increase shortly after the export ban was imposed. However, though a ban on exports of the AstraZeneca vaccine was placed on 24th March to address supply issues, India is still struggling to meet the demand, with supply still being a limiting factor in their vaccination campaign, seen in the graph where total vaccinations match supply. Furthermore, it can then be seen that the rate of vaccination begins to slow.
