Sinovac is the most used vaccine in the world, with 943m doses delivered

The map shows which vaccines make up the majority of doses for each country, showing an interesting picture. Pfizer/BioNTech is dominating in North America and Europe, Chinese vaccines widely used in much of Asia and South America, and AstraZeneca is the most prominent in Africa, Oceania, and India.

Sinovac overtook Pfizer as the most produced vaccine at the end of May 2021, with numbers growing quickly over the past few months. 

Looking at Airfinity’s vaccine production forecast, you can see that there could be over 2.91bn Sinovac doses produced by the end of the year.
