Role Overview: Airfinity is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with our key clients across Pharma/Biotech, Financial Services, and other sectors. This role is central to ensuring clients derive maximum value from our data-driven products and services, while identifying new opportunities to expand our engagement. You’ll be working with industry-leading organisations globally to help them navigate the infectious disease and therapeutic landscapes, anticipate risks, and ultimately save lives.
As an Account Manager, you will be the face of Airfinity for your clients—proactively ensuring our insights have meaningful impact and are embedded into their critical decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at existing and prospective client organisations.
Growth & Retention:
Achieve and exceed financial targets related to renewals, upsells, and new business across assigned accounts.
Strategic Account Development:
Understand client business challenges, identify opportunities for additional value, and position Airfinity’s offerings accordingly.
Product Expertise:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Airfinity’s current and evolving product suite; clearly articulate the value proposition to various client stakeholders.
Client Advocacy:
Capture and communicate client feedback to internal teams, helping shape product enhancements and future offerings.
Trusted Partner:
Act as the client’s primary point of contact, delivering exceptional service and becoming their trusted advisor.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing accounts and selling subscription-based data or analytics services, ideally within the life sciences or healthcare sector.
A strong track record of exceeding revenue or retention goals.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Strong executive presence with the ability to confidently engage senior decision-makers.
Highly curious and intellectually agile; always seeking to deepen your understanding of complex topics.
Results-driven with a proactive, “go-getter” mindset and high levels of energy.
Comfortable with numbers and confident interpreting data to support client conversations.
Collaborative and team-oriented with a desire to both learn from and support others.
Fluency in an additional European language is a plus.
