Objective of the role: The Infectious Disease Analyst role is a key role within Airfinity working within our Infectious Diseases team, who will play a critical role in providing critical analysis and informatic services to clients. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across multiple sectors including government, public health, pharmaceutical, medtech, investor and other business sectors. The role holder will help develop a growing area within the infectious disease space in the company identifying key questions for clients in order shape analysis and always aim to pre-empt the impact changes and new data within the space.
Key Responsibilities:
Turn science related data into compelling medical and commercial insights for clients
Provide subject matter expertise to client development activities (meetings, proposals)
Deliver effective stakeholder presentations & demonstrations to optimise the value of Airfinity's solutions to clients
Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues to gather data and build presentations and insights for clients
Support and oversee therapy area specific data inputs and platform quality
Identify new data sources and develop analytics views and methodologies
Potential to also assume people management responsibilities over time
Can confidently build a range of slides to support client needs and makes significant contributions to weekly/monthly reports
Provides meaningful insights, contribution and criticisms to the client reports to help continuously improve them
Capable of leading and managing small projects/workstreams, either independently or as part of a wider project
Skills, Qualifications and Profile:
Undergraduate/masters in life sciences and experience working for another company
Expertise and deep interest in scientific research
Experience with data visualisation applications, building dashboards and reports
Proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools
Ability to deliver high quality outputs at pace
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational habits and an ability to meet tight deadlines
